Bridget, a Social Purpose & Sustainability Strategist, helps progressive companies turn their social impact aspirations into an impactful, purpose-driven business strategy - so that doing more for the environment and making an impact in their community becomes part of how they operate - part of their DNA.
Social responsibility, strategic marketing and planning are Bridget’s forte. With over 30 years of marketing experience in non-profit, high-tech, and CPG, she is uniquely qualified to develop crucial social purpose and sustainability strategies for clients who are ready to make a difference.
An integrated social purpose strategy, much like strategic marketing, influences so many aspects of an organization (think community relations, employee communications, sponsorship and giving, procurement and more).
Leveraging business processes is one thing, living her passion is another. Bridget's professional career and her personal values are closely aligned. She has guided non-profits delivering essential community services, and rolled up her sleeves on many environmental sustainability initiatives. For 11 years, Bridget was the Green Living columnist with Brunswick News (2008-2019) and is an award winning environmental sustainability communicator and guide for community and professional groups and corporate wellness programs.
Bridget has a deep understanding of social impact strategy. Her professional and volunteer experiences have enriched her perspective and garnered recognition, including the 2009 NB Premier’s Award for Environmental Leadership - a provincial award recognizing her contributions towards environmental sustainability initiatives.
Bridget has volunteered to help raise funds in support of regional organizations, driving impactful change at the grassroots level. And she has shared her time and talents on several boards and committees, including founding board member at the renewable energy developer, Naveco Power Inc., and as co-chair of the successful $2 million YMCA Camp Glenburn Capital Campaign.
